The primary aim for researching in this topic and proposing this specific intervention is to acknowledge the identity of heritage of Kutch-Bhuj region through an architectural intervention adjacent to Hamirsar Lake in Bhuj and aid in preserving the region’s heritage.
The cultural-cum-commercial complex will serve as a symbolic representation of Rajkot’s culture, offering a dynamic space that fosters community engagement, economic activity and the celebration of the city’s vibrant traditions. Through this initiative, the aim is to transform the riverfront into a thriving hub that reflects the spirit and resilience of Rajkot while contributing to the overall urban rejuvenation.
